Dear Barrett,

It is my loss that I never got to experience one of your famous classes, but it has been a pleasure getting to know you over the past few years. What luck that you decided to take up SCUBA diving! You are a veritable inspiration. I hope that when I am celebrating my 75th birthday, I have as much spunk and zest for life as you do.
